i went to Terunobu Fujimori's exhibition a month ago as i volunteered to help setting up the display shelter before the exhibition... the exhibition was called 'The Shelter on Kindness' as it was made of burnt wood gathered from the victoria bush fire site... its quite an interesting idea to use back the burnt wood to set up shelter for victims who lost home from the victoria bush fire without increasing cost used to purchase building materials as well as transportation of building materials to the site as the building material (burnt wood) is already existed and ready to be used at the site (*thus greatly reduce energy consumption of the total embodied energy used in building the shelter)...
