Geelong day trip part 1...

been too exhausted after coming back from geelong two days ago and cant even update the pics...seriously... ive been walking the whole day in that trip...

so geelong is not so countryside after all... just a boring small town (but has myer!) that suits retired people aka old poeple...so i had to wake up pretty early at 5.15am to prepare and all and meet up with the people (too many.. lazy to count) at 6.30am at tram stop and take tram to southern cross then change to vline to geelong... belows the beautiful scene of the countryside taken on the way to geelong...

and finally reach ping's house... ohh forgot to tel ya ... ping studied in deakin so she live in geelong... she went back after a few days stay at cbd and shes our tour guide for the day lolx (thanx ping!)...belows the house that shes staying (its a shared accomodation rented out to students)

her rooms at first floor...

and the toilet...

the backyard of the house...(dont ask why im taking the pic of that coz i dont even know lolx)

and the common room downstair...(coz im a huge movie fan... so the ambience of the room made me think of the scene in 'in the mood of love' lolx...

ok...time to go scouting around geelong... and the interesting pics below were capture on my way to the deaking uni and the beachside...theres this government building with idea of brutalism looks like the latest proposed stadium in china (no its not the bird nest by herzog..its another new one..just cant recall the name)..

and we went to visit geelong gallery.. not so many artworks in there but i love the comfortable bean bags in the gallery coz i spent at least 20 mins taking a nap on it lolx... fuck yea i sleep in the gallery! haha
and thers this humongous gazebo situated in the park right opposite the gallery...

then we reached deaking uni... its a beautiful uni facing the sea!!...again... the SEA!!!!... so unfair... why cant rmit b like that too!!! :(

and belows ping's model on exhibition display....somethin to do with creating portable classroom if not mistaken...

and whats more special bout the uni is that there are parts that was being preserved coz previously was a sheep skin factory...cool...
theres a part of the uni with multiple level of mezzanine floors with clerestory that invites skylight into the space below...stunning!...

to be continue...
